Theme: ABIDING IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH

Text: “Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” – Isaiah 56:7

Comment: While the return of the children of Israel to their home country on May 14, 1948, following a resolution of the United Nations the previous year, was a minor fulfillment of God’s plan to gather His people, ultimately, the gathering of God’s people long spoken of by the patriarch Jacob, (Genesis 49:10) is God’s grand design to bring into His fold, all people from all nationalities, both Israelites and non-Israelites, all who love to praise Him in truth, so that in the words of Jesus Christ, “…there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” – John 10:16.

There is no alternative to the holy mountain of God, “a city of truth.” (Zechariah 8:3)  As such, all exertions, resources, or duration of time spent in false religious organizations will amount to vanity fare, in that, there would be no reward from above. (Ezekiel 20:40)  By heeding God’s invitation, we have been made nigh to Him, to enjoy divine providence, peace, safety and other blessings by His grace. Let us abide therein and not expose ourselves to the “weak and beggarly elements” that are obtained outside God’s “secret place” and by implication get “much sorer punishment” at the end, (Hebrews 10:29) instead of salvation to which we have been appointed. – 1 Thessalonians 5:9.

May the God of all harvest continue to help us abound in all good works in His holy mountain, till the end by His grace
