Theme: PRAY AND WAIT ON THE LORD
Text: “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” – Isaiah 25:9.
Comment: To have confidence in the salvation of JEHOVAH the Almighty God is imperative in the service of God. The life of man is plagued by events that put fear and hopelessness in the hearts of many. When we call on God and draw closer to him, He will deliver us. King Asa sought for help from man in time of war despite having been helped by God in more dire situations (2 Chronicles 14) He was rebuked: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9) We should continue to trust in God with pure hearts and clean hands so as to earn His deliverance by His grace.
