Theme: SERVING GOD IN SINCERITY AND IN TRUTH
Comment: Our Lord Jesus Christ, while speaking with the woman of Samaria emphasized that God Almighty is a spirit and that those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24). When we know that God Almighty is a spirit who sees everything we have no choice but to be sincere in all our activities in His Organization “For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.” (Job 34:21, 22. See also Hebrews 4:13). The people who serve God must have the spirit of God and accurate understanding of His purposes of creation and His Kingdom so as to offer acceptable services to him. That is the only way they will attain the righteouness of God. David the Psalmist declared in Psalm 51:6 “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou, shalt make me to know wisdom.” Again, God gives His spirit to His children to enable them do His righteouness. Our Saviour asked us to pray for the spirit of God, saying: “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”- Luke 11:13.
