Theme: WHY SOME PRAYERS ARE NOT ANSWERED BY GOD
Text: “The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.” – Micah 3:11
Comment: In many churches the world over, adherents are asked to sow seed. Sowing of seed means to give monetary and material possessions to the “pastors” so as to seek the face of God. There is no limit to these requests. God has never asked anybody to bring anything for his or her prayers to be answered. The leaders use this means to fatten their pockets and live affluent and luxurious lives. Apostle Peter shed more light on this when he declared: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies… And many shall follow their pernicious way… And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you” – 2 Peter 2:1-3.
