Theme: BE YE DOERS OF THE WORD
Text: “Keep therefore and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” – Deuteronomy 4:6.
Comment: High standard of morality is shown from our wisdom and understanding of God’s word. As we live among people in our society, we must endeavour to exhibit a rightful conduct in order to give glory to God. Jesus Christ stated: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) People of God should awake themselves to a righteous cause because it brings God’s prosperity, happiness and peace. (1 Corinthians 15:34) The Preacher stated: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Proverbs 16:7) Therefore, we should be peculiar people in the sight of the nations. – Exodus 19:5; Ezekiel 44:23.
