Theme: WHERE CAN PEACE AND SAFETY BE FOUND?
Text: “And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places”. – Isaiah 32:18.
Comment: This prophecy foretells of the time when Jesus Christ, the King, shall reign in righteousness and his cabinet, the Princes or Saints shall rule in judgment. (Isaiah 32:1) This is when God’s Kingdom will be fully established on earth – the New Earth. In this glorious kingdom there shall be no robbery, kidnapping, sickness, poverty, war or death. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:4, 5. See also Psalms 37:9, 11, 22, 29, 37; Matthew 5:5) Therefore, let us fear God and labour to enter into that rest. – Hebrews 4:1, 11; 12:28.
