Text: “Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” – Psalm 62:10, 11.
Comment: In the exercise of religious power, political power, spiritual or occultic power, and financial power, many have erred having been overwhelmed with negative influences that make them feel unstoppable in their sphere of influence. The things of this world are ephemeral and should be rejected totally by those who desire the grace of God to have knowledge of Him, do His will for their own salvation in the end (Titus 2:11-14; 1 John 2:15-17) Let us, therefore, trust and acknowledge God Almighty is all our enterprises and achievements in life as He alone can give power and all good things of life. “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy”. – 1 Timothy 6:17. See also Psalm 75:6; Proverbs 3:5-9.
