Theme: THE PENNY REWARD
Text: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6.
Comment: The Scriptures make it abundantly clear that the Almighty Father has committed the work of gathering people into His Holy Organisation, to His dear Son, Jesus Christ as expressed in today’s text. The work of gathering the people took a greater dimension after Christ’s death and resurrection when the apostles were anointed and the gospel started spreading beyond the confines of the Jewish nation, thus fulfilling the statement of Christ who said: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” (John 12:32) Those who are drawn to God through Christ should endeavour to make the most of the opportunity given to them by the Almighty God by following the examples laid down by Christ. – Matthew 10:25; 11:28-30.
