Theme: THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES AND YOU
Text: “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessings of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.” – Deuteronomy 16:17.
Comment: One major ordinance of the Feast of Tabernacles celebration is that celebrants should not appear before the Lord empty but that “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessings of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.” (Deuteronomy 16:16, 17) It can therefore be appreciated that one of the statutes also directed the natural Jews to celebrate the Feast after they had gathered in their corn and their wine. (Deuteronomy 16:13) This instruction finds expression in the GKS Feast Votes, Offertories and Special Thanksgiving. All who claim to be Feast celebrants are duty-bound to observe faithfully this ordinance for their own blessings by the grace of God.
