Theme: WHERE CAN PEACE AND SAFETY BE FOUND?
Text: “Gather yourselves together, yea gather together, O nation not desired. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.” – Zephaniah 2:1, 3.
Comment: Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace said: “…that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation…” (John 16:33; Matthew 11: 28-30) God Almighty in this second world is gathering His children for salvation. Those who are not in the “Ark”, who leave the “City of Refuge”, would be destroyed. (Jeremiah 22:10, Ezekiel 20:40-42, Numbers 35:9-12) Having been gathered, let us be peaceful, seek righteousness and diligently serve God till the end. There is an impending catastrophe. A day of clouds and thick darkness. The day of the Lord’s fury, such has never been seen and never will. This “day” will precede God’s everlasting peace and security. (Isaiah 26:20, 21, 19) It is ONLY those who flee the evils and lusts of this world and follow after godliness, love and meekness that will enjoy that everlasting peace of God. – 1 John 2:15-17, 1 Timothy 6:6-12, Isaiah 26:1-4.
