Theme: BE YE THANKFUL
Text: “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” – Colossians 2: 6,7.
Comments: It is a great honour and privilege to be called into God’s Holy Organization – the way of holiness. Those who enjoy such privilege should be grateful to God. “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:” (2 Thessalonians 2:13)In appreciation of his call into the ministry Apostle Paul declared: “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry”. – 1 Timothy 1:12.
In appreciation of this undeserved favour from God, we are expected to worship God through Jesus Christ in the way that is pleasing unto Him. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” – Romans 12:1.
