Theme: THE BLESSING IN DOING WHAT WE HEAR
Text: “If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.” – John 13:17.
Comment: As true worshippers of God, who have been taught what is good and acceptable in the sight of God, we should continue to aspire towards holiness by constantly doing the will of God so that our services would be acceptable to the Most High. (Romans 12:1, 2) The Psalmist says: “Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.” (Psalm 119:115, 116). When one puts all these into practice, one would have a sound spiritual footing to withstand and overcome trials, tribulations or persecutions that would come our way and in the end be ushered into the Kingdom of God. – Matthew 7:24-27; Acts 14:22.
