Theme: WHERE CAN PEACE AND SAFETY BE FOUND?
Text: “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” – Isaiah 65:24.
Comment: One of the yearnings or heart desires of all races of mankind is peace. Peace is priceless and the bedrock for progress. In the text for today, God has guaranteed that in the New Earth, whatever we desire, He will do it for us even before we ask. In fact, the troubles and insecurity ravaging the world today, “shall not be remembered… for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy… the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying”, said God. (Isaiah 65:17-20) No wonder God’s Kingdom is rightly designated as the “desire of all Nations”. (Haggai 2:7) Truly, eyes have not seen nor ears heard what God has prepared for His people. Considering the state of affairs in the world today, it may be unimaginable, but it is a revealed truth, a reality in the making. – 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10, Isaiah 64:4.
