Theme: THE WILL OF GOD
Text: “Thy Kingdom Come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10.
Comment: Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the famous prayer he taught his disciples spoke of the Kingdom of God as a place where the will of God would be perfectly done. The Universal Kingdom of God – which will cover both the heavens and earth – has been established in fulfilment of Bible prophecies, though not fully established here on earth. (Revelation 12:7-12; Daniel 2:44; Isaiah 2:2; Matthew 24:15, 16; etc.) And when it is fully established, God’s will would fully hold sway on earth as it is in heaven by God’s grace. (2 Peter 3:13) Therefore, those who are privileged to be called into God’s holy organisation (the holy mountain) should pay heed to the word of God and do His will so as to be partakers of the Kingdom of God when fully established by His grace. – Isaiah 2:3.
