Comment: Considering the anguish that comes with despise for God’s ordinance, we realize on the long run that it is most rewarding and convenient to walk within the bounds of the laws of God as they are always for our benefit. In any case, the Most High has absolutely nothing to gain or lose if we either serve or disobey Him. It was Elihu who asked: “If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand? Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.” – Job 35:6-8; 22:1-5; Proverbs 5:1,10-13; 9:12.
