Comment: Negative emotions are not from God. They are rooted in the works of the flesh. (Galatians 5:19-21) They constitute sin unto God. “…Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:1, 2) Unfortunately, many people; Christians and non-Christians, are involved in the manifestation of unhealthy emotions in their relationships and daily activities, simply because they lack self-control, discipline and the fear of God. Therefore, it would be a tragedy to continue living in deception of, “this is who I am, just take me for who I am or let me be!” This is nothing but denial of one’s deficiencies and refusal to seek help. Remember, “slaves who love their chains will remain in bondage”! We pray God to give us the spiritual will-power to run away from sin by His grace through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
