Theme: BE YE DOERS OF THE WORD
Text: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein for the time is at hand.” – Revelation 1:3.
Comment: The text for today teaches us the importance of reading the book of the LORD (Isaiah 34:16), as it brings good success and prosperity from God to such ones. (Joshua 1:8) St. Paul declared: “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.” (Romans 2:13) Children of God should emulate the Christians at Berea who received the word of God with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so and they believed (Acts 17:10-12) Conscious efforts must be made particularly in these last days to constantly read the Scriptures, attend God’s gatherings and also demonstrate what one has read and heard so as to merit His divine promises. – James 1:25.
