Theme: THE WILL OF GOD

Text: “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” – Hebrews 13:20, 21.

Comment: It is the express will of the Almighty Father that we do His will by doing good works in our services to Him. No matter the difficult situation we find ourselves, our faith must be implicit. We should not allow tribulations or “storms” of life to make us draw back. It is commonly said: “forward ever, backward never”. St. Paul was one of those who the Almighty God revealed Himself to in performing good works in the ministry of Christ and despite the tribulations he faced, he was resolute in winning souls to God. (2 Corinthians 11:23-28; Acts 27:21-24) Abundant blessings from above shall be the lot of all those who do the will of God. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Peter 5:10, 11.
