Theme: The World to Come
Text: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” – John 17:3.
Comment: Eternal life is a gift from God (Romans 6:23) which He has promised to give to His faithful worshippers in the world to come. (Mark 10:30) But to obtain this special and priceless gift, accurate knowledge of God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ, is very essential as stated in the text for today. When Christ talked about knowing the true God and himself as a prerequisite for eternal life, he meant more than just knowing them by name. Knowing these great personalities entails gaining accurate knowledge of Them, the practice of righteousness, show of Christian love, among other things. – Matthew 7:21; James 2:12.
