Theme: PRAY AND WAIT ON THE LORD
Text: “Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.” – Micah 7:7.
Comment: We need the help of God in various aspects of our lives so as to survive in this present evil world. Whatever may be a present challenge; be it sicknesses, unemployment, search for spouses, oppression, etc., we should not be in despair. Rather, as the leading text for today says, we should “look unto the LORD” and He will save us. In Psalm 130: 5-7, King David stated: “I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.”
