Theme: BE YE THANKFUL

Text:“Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” – Psalm 65:1,2.

Comment:Prayer is a solemn petition and giving of thanks to God. It is the means by which we express our desires and thanksgiving to God through His Son Jesus Christ. God answers prayers. Whatever may be our worries or pains, let us commit them into the hands of God through prayers. And we should not neglect our thanksgiving to God for His lovingkindness and unfailing mercies upon us. The Bible says: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6, 7) Saint Paul further exhorts: “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving”. – Colossians 4:2.
