Theme: CASTING ALL YOUR BURDENS ON CHRIST
Text: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” – Isaiah 45:22.
Comment: All powers in the heavens and earth belong to God. (Psalm 62:11, 12) The Holy Father declared: “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.” (Deuteronomy 32:39; Isaiah 45:5, 6) These divine assurances from the Almighty Father should serve as comfort and strength to all who are oppressed and distressed. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:8, 9, 17, 18.
