Theme: WHERE CAN PEACE AND SAFETY BE FOUND?
Text: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11.
Comment: The Almighty Father has wonderful plans for each and every one of us His children, just as parents have good plans for their children; but that of God is far better than ours. This He showed even before making man. God made a lot of good things: flora and fauna, etc., for the benefit of man. On creating man, He made paradise on earth (Garden of Eden) and put him there to enjoy in peace. (Genesis 2:5-10) Unfortunately, the devil struck and man fell from the grace of God. However, because of His unconditional love for us, to give us a beautiful end, He sacrificed His only begotten Son to reconcile mankind and restore us to that paradise of peace. (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:18) Indeed, God will give the faithful ones, relative peace in this world and everlasting peace in His Kingdom fully established by His grace. – Psalms 29:11.
