Text: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” – Matthew 24:12, 13.
Comment: Those who have the grace to be called into God’s holy organisation are not immune from trials and temptations, at the instance of the Devil. (Acts 14:22; 1 Peter 4:12-16; 1 Thessalonians 3:3-5) Consequently, today’s Daily Devotional Guide enjoins lovers of truth and righteousness to remain steadfast in the service of God in His place of refuge, until everlasting life is attained, no matter the trials. (1 Peter 1:9; 4:7; Hebrews 3:12-14) God warns His people to remain in His Holy organisation as those who refuse would be destroyed just as those who were not in the ark: “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” – Isaiah 26:20, 21.
