Theme: THE ANTITYPICAL ARK OF NOAH
Text: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” – Matthew 24:21.
Comment: The evil system of things in this world, under the evil overlordship of Satan the devil – the god of this world-will not be unabated. (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4; Ezekiel 21:25; Romans 16:20) Just as God Almighty destroyed the first world with the deluge, He will certainly bring to an utter end all works of unrighteousness, visible and invisible, including Satan the devil – the author of evil. The flood which destroyed everything ( stands for the battle of the great day of the Almighty God, known as the Battle of Armageddon, which will be preceded by the Great Tribulation. It is pertinent to note that whereas at the time of Noah, the Devil and other spirit creatures were not killed, but they will not escape annihilation at the Great Battle of God Almighty. (Zephaniah 1:14-18; Revelation 11:18) Let us therefore remain faithful as only the righteous shall be delivered by God’s grace. – Proverbs 11:4; Daniel 12:1.
