Theme: Be Careful for Nothing

Text: “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.” – Matthew 24:7.

Comment: Evidently, the world has been experiencing harder and harder times since after World War 1, which marked the beginning of the last days, a period referred to in the Bible as “perilous times” when “the wicked shall do wickedly”; when people will not have feeling for their fellow men, as their consciences would be “seared as with a hot iron”; and “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (Daniel 12:10; 1 Timothy 4:1-5; 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 12, 13) Food crisis, diseases, earthquakes and other societal ills are on the increase in fulfillment of Bible prophecies. Having this understanding, we should draw closer to God Who is gathering His people into His fold to learn meekness and righteousness as to be saved in the day of His anger. – Zephaniah 2:1-3.
