Theme: The World to Come

Text: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” – Revelation 21:4.

Comment: One of the most comforting promises of man’s future in the kingdom of God fully established is contained in the revelation of Jesus Christ to Apostle John in Revelation 21:1-5. Here, mankind is shown a glimpse of a trouble-free world that awaits the righteous in the world to come. (Psalm 37:29) But these are just a few of the enormous provisions that God has in stock for His people. According to St. Paul, the full scale of what God prepares for those that love Him is beyond comprehension. (1 Corinthians 2:9) This, unquestionably, makes God’s Kingdom incomparable to any worldly government. – Haggai 2:7; Isaiah 65:17-25.
