Theme: BUILDING UP YOURSELVES ON YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH
Text: “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” – Hebrews 3:12, 13.
Comment: Unbelief is lack of faith in the word of God, the truth. It is dangerous in that it leads ultimately to destruction. Unbelief makes a worshipper to lose all the gains he has made through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Apostle John says: “Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.” (2 John verse 8) Unbelief is a serious adversity from the devil, who does not want the wholesome worship and obedience to the laws of the Almighty God. Satan cajoles the simple, changes their mindset and moves them to believe that the Almighty God is responsible for the awkward turn of events in their lives; whereas he (devil) is the one who manipulates and stirs up evil in the world. – 2 Peter 3:17, 18.
