Theme: THE PURPOSE OF MAN ON EARTH
Text: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” – Revelation 4:11.
Comment: God Almighty – the Maker of man and all good and perfect things, created man for His pleasure and glory. He is a glorious God, and man is to reflect His glory to others. As humans, we prove to others that we love God by our actions in the service of God and our relationship with one another. In Psalm 19:1 the Sweet Psalmist of Israel declared: “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork.” We need to seek God in all areas of our lives, reflecting His glory and image to others. Thus, fulfilling the purpose for which we were created. Just as the heavenly panorama of sun, moon, stars and other planetary bodies appear in their strength daily and we admire them, so we should acknowledge that God is Divine, All-powerful and All-wise and these are evidences that He exists and reveals His divine character, will and plan to all humanity.
