Theme: Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence
Text: “Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will. The one peach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds.” – Philippians 1:15, 16.
Comment: In the time of Apostle Paul, there were some who were preaching the gospel but not with the understanding that the principal message of their mission was the love of God for His people for which reason He is calling His children wherever they may be. Such ones are carnally minded and are more concerned with their personal glory. Christians should allow themselves to be guided by the word of God. They should prove all things and hold fast to the truth by God’s grace. (Psalm 119:105; 1 Thessalonians 5:21) People should be open to the truth especially when it comes in conflict with their initial belief and not resist or reject it. – 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
