Theme: THE WILL OF GOD
Text: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” – 3 John 2.
Comment: It is the express will of the Almighty God that His worshippers should prosper and be in good health. He has promised to give us health and cure through His son Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 33:6; Malachi 4:2) It is with this understanding that St. John wrote to his well-beloved Gaius as in the opening text for today. This divine will of the Almighty God will follow those who meet the biblical standards and are diligent and faithful in their service to God. (Proverbs 10:4, 22; 13:4) Giving attention to the study of the Bible, meditating on it and applying our everyday lives to it is a road map to prosperity and good health condition. – Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 7:13-15; 28:2-14.
