Theme: BUILDING UP YOURSELVES ON YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH

Text: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world”. – Titus 2:11, 12.

Comment: Jesus Christ is the grace of God personified who came into this world for the purpose of shedding his perfect blood for the sins of mankind. (John 1:17; Matthew 20:28) The gospel message which the Master brought into the world is a faith-builder for all those who believe in him. Christ said: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37, 38) The leading text for today shows that we should not continue in sin having received the grace of God. (Romans 6:1, 2) Therefore, let us pay heed to the admonition of Apostle Paul, to wit: “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” – 2 Corinthians 6:1.
