Theme: RECEIVING THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LITTLE CHILD
Text: “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD… Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” – Psalm 127:3, 5.
Comment: The leading text for today shows that children are gifts from God and they are always useful to their families in so many ways. Children are usually passionate about a course if they so much believe in it. When certain promises are made to them, they voluntarily undertake tasks not specifically assigned to them. One who is blessed with children sits at peace, trusting in their capacity to always come to one’s rescue when faced with challenges. This zeal, passion and love is expected of those who have come to the Lord’s highway and desire to make it successfully to the end. We should show such zeal by carrying out initiatives, earnestly contending for the faith, going the extra length to always do things that would promote God’s work. – Romans 1:16; Jude 3.
