Text: “Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” – Psalm 65:1,2.

Comment: The Almighty God deserves our praises as He created us for His pleasure in order to show forth His praise. (Isaiah 43:7, 21; Revelation 4:11) People make vows in anticipation of answers to their prayers to God. Prayer is the means by which we communicate our requests and express thanksgiving to God. It is very important as it builds one’s faith in God. Jesus Christ declared: “…Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – Mark 11:22-24.
