Theme: THE POWER OF KNOWLEDGE

Text: “For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?” – Deuteronomy 30:11, 12.

Comment:  Without mincing words, it should be stated that the answers to the basic questions about life have long been made available to man by God using His servants as His spokesmen. These include the question of the existence of God, His purpose of creation, how death came about and the coming of a perfect world. God revealed to Isaiah the prophet His reason for creating man saying: “This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.” – Isaiah 43:21.

Prophets of God such as Job, Ezekiel and Daniel spoke of resurrection of the dead; while King David, Isaiah and others dwelt extensively on the Kingdom of God. See Job 3:11-18; 19:25, 26; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Daniel 12:2; etc.

Those who earnestly seek true knowledge obtain it from God’s Guidebook to man, the Holy Bible.  Moses states further, “Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.” (Deuteronomy 30:13-14) In these last days, God Almighty has instituted a great campaign of spiritual education to enlighten all peoples of the world. (Matthew 24:14)  All persons of goodwill who follow the truth would enjoy the everlasting blessings from God Almighty. – Jeremiah 33:15,16.
