Theme: FLEE YOUTHFUL LUSTS
Text: “He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.” – Proverbs 28:22.
Comment: The warning of King Solomon in the text for today, applies to all children of God, especially Christian youths of today’s society which has sunk deep in sin. The quest to get rich at all cost is now a must for many youths, thereby corrupting their sense of judgment and conscience. We should know for sure that we all, are accountable to God (2 Corinthians 5:10), and He (God Almighty), will bring every work into judgment. The Prophet Jeremaih declared: “As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.” – Jeremiah 17:11.
