Comment: Ill-health, deformity, trauma, injuries from accidents, oppression, etc., are part of the distressing conditions with which the devil plagues people in the world. In addition to effecting reconciliation back to our Maker, the advent of our Lord and Saviour also brought succour for the entire human race. (Hebrews 2:17, 18) Indeed, Jesus Christ practically demonstrated his mission of bringing succour to mankind in fulfilment of the leading text. (Luke 18:35-43, 7:1-9; 8:43-48; etc. In the strength of Romans 15:4, all of these and more, are pointers to greater things awaiting the righteous in the “everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” – Revelation 21:1-5; Romans 8:18; 2 Corinthians 4:17, 18.
