Text: “The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.” – Proverbs 14:8.
Comment: The leading text makes us to know that the wise or prudent man understands the ways of God. We should remember that our ways are not God’s ways. (Isaiah 55:8) As ordinary human beings, our perception of God can be faulty except we are guided by the spirit of God and His word. This is important in our daily lives and in our quest for salvation in the end. It is when we understand the ways of God that we can keep them. (Deuteronomy 4:6-8) So, we need the wisdom of God, which we can gain through prayers, reading of the Bible and hearing of the word of God. – James 1:5-8; Hebrews 10:25; Romans 10:17.
