Theme: LORD, TO WHOM SHALL WE GO?
Text: “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near”. – Isaiah 55:6.
Comment: The God of truth caused His servant, Isaiah, to invite His children, to come to Him, the “Fountain of life”, to enjoy the benefits His truth offers. To those who exert their energy, invest their time and resources outside the way of life, He asked: “…Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is gosod, and let your soul delight itself in fatness…” (Isaiah 55:1-3; John 4:14) To the backsliding nation of Israel, Hosea the prophet under inspiration declared: “…for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you”. – Hosea 10:12.
