Comment: Some persons think that they can do whatever they like in this world and get away with it. They feel that they can commit atrocities as they like and quit this world at death without giving account of their deeds. The Bible gives the understanding that everyone will be judged, even wicked persons who have died will come back to life again on the day of resurrection to be judged for their evil deeds. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; Psalm 7:11; 2 Timothy 4:1) We should continue to do what is right and pleasing unto God so that if death comes, we will be said to have died the death of the righteous and God’s judgement will be in our favour by His grace.  St Paul stated categorically, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” – 2 Corinthians 5:10; Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14.
