Theme: Be Careful for Nothing
Text: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” – Psalm 37:25.
Comment: This declaration by David the prophet is a vigorous affirmation of JEHOVAH’S faithfulness to His children on the basis of His own personal experience. The point of the text is that we should not be restless about the needs of life or have fear of the future in as much as we are given to doing the will of God. (Psalm 33:18, 19) Knowing that people of the world are weighed down by several problems imposed on them by the devil, Jesus Christ pointed the way to life and peace for those who want to get the salvation of God. (Matthew 11:28-30) Indeed, God will surely provide and care for all those who give themselves to the doing of His will. – Psalm 34:10; Isaiah 40:28-31.
