Theme: THE PURPOSE OF MAN ON EARTH
Text: “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.” – Psalm 95:2.
Comment: JEHOVAH, the Creator and Possessor of the heavens and the earth has guided us to a lot of blessings that enrich our lives. (Psalm 68:19) The least we could do is to give Him praises and profound thanks for bringing us to life. The LORD is to be praised, so whenever we come into His presence, we must come with thanksgiving. King David in one of his songs said: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalms 100:4) As we live from day to day, let the praise of God be in our lips in thanksgiving. Let us sing unto the LORD a new song. Let us not be depressed or downcast. Let us gain victory over the tempter and sing like King David who proclaimed: “…Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King…” – Psalm 98:1, 4-9.
