Theme: THE ANTITYPICAL ARK OF NOAH

Text: “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” – Romans 15:4.

Comment: The word of God as contained in the Holy Bible, is not written in vain but to teach us lessons. (James 4:5) The story of the deluge that happened in the days of Noah highlights a number of virtues which commend themselves to us as worshippers of the Most High. Some of the characters in Bible narratives may not know the significance of their roles and actions. Therefore, a good understanding of biblical narratives and their lessons will make us avoid their pitfalls and emulate their godliness so as to serve God acceptably for our own blessings and salvation. “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” – 1 Corinthians 10: 11.
