Theme: BUILDING UP YOURSELVES ON YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH
Text: “Cast not away therefore your confidence which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise”. – Hebrews 10:35, 36.
Comment: stagnant in the way of the LORD is evidence of lack of faith in the Almighty God. Keeping the ordinance of God faithfully; constant reading of the Scriptures; keeping the word of God in our hearts and contending for the faith are evidences of building oneself in our most holy faith. (Psalm 119:11; Jude verse 3) The text for today admonishes us to be steadfast in the service of God; patiently waiting on God, constancy of our faith and the need to do the will of God so as to receive the reward of everlasting life. Apostle Paul declared: “To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” – Romans 2:7; 1 John 2:25.
