Theme: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CHRISTIAN
Text: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16.
Comment: As Christians, we must endeavour to show good examples by doing what is right in the sight of God and men. (Acts 24:16) In our teachings, we should show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned. (Titus 2:7, 8) In love we should be sincere to one another. (Romans 12:9) It is important for Christians to live right with God, as shining examples to the people of the world so as to glorify God who is in heaven for our own blessings at the end. Apostle Peter exhorts: “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” – 1 Peter 2:12.
