Theme: RECEIVING THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LITTLE CHILD
Text: “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” – 1 Corinthians 11:31.
Comment: A direct consequence of sin in the entire human race is the inability to attain perfection in this sin-ridden world. All should constantly judge themselves daily (Psalm 4:4) in order to determine whether they meet the standard of God in practising His righteousness. “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2 Corinthians 13:5; Romans 10:1-3) By constant meditation on the word of God, we reflect on our ways, do what is right and refrain from evil by His grace. – Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:9-11; John 15:3; 17:17.
