Theme: THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES AND YOU

Text: “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly… But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter…” – Romans 2:28, 29.

Comment: True worshippers of God today are spiritual Jews or children of Abraham by faith.  They are duty bound to get involved in the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles.  St. Paul further wrote: “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham… So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham”. The law establishing the Feast of Tabernacles makes provision for all to assemble to hear the word of God. “Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” (Deuteronomy 31:10-13). Also, the prophetic injunction through Zechariah the prophet makes it imperative for “all families of the earth” irrespective of colour, tribe or nationality, to observe the Feast. – Zechariah 14:16-19.
