Theme: THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES AND YOU

Text: “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” – Revelation 22:17.

Comment: The “Spirit” is Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17) and the “bride” are the apostles or saints – the body members of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 19:7-9) The text for today clearly demonstrates the need for us, as worshippers of God who have been called into God’s organization, to extend the invitation to others so that they can come to hear the undiluted word of God symbolically called water for their own spiritual edification and sanctification. (Isaiah 55:1-3) The Feast of Tabernacles is one of such occasions to reach out to all people of the world, including “the family of Egypt” (that is, the ungodly) to join in the celebration by God’s grace. King David states: “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” – Psalm 68:11.
