Theme: LORD, TO WHOM SHALL WE GO?

Text: “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” – Psalm 2:6, 10, 12.

Comment: Amplifying on Christ’s preeminence over all of God’s creation, the Holy Bible gives the understanding that God hath exalted him to be king of His universal empire. In God’s appointed time, he would grant justification to the righteous, and condemnation to the wicked. (John 5:22) Aligning oneself with the truth brought by our Lord Jesus Christ is the best decision one can make at this time of global distress. To “kiss the son” therefore implies making friends with him, by reconciling our conduct to meet the expectations of his truth, now that the window is still open. (Matthew 11:28-30) Those who, trusting in their influence, wealth, and status in society and neglecting the clarion call, will definitely account for their refusal. – Matthew 25:41.
