TEXTUAL INTERPRETATION – Isaiah 2:2

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.”

 – Isaiah 2:2

This is a prophetic statement by Isaiah, the prophet of God pointing to this “present time we are now living”, known as the “Last Day” or “the time of the end” (Daniel 12:4, 9) which Apostle Paul also called “the latter times” (1 Timothy 4:1); while Christ referred to it as “the end of the world” (Matthew 13:39).

The “mountain of the LORD’S house” is a symbolic statement referring to the Kingdom of God belonging to Jesus Christ and his body members – the saints or the 144,000 chosen and anointed Christians who constitute the spiritual “house of God”. – 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17; Hebrews 3:6.

“Since the casting down of Satan from heaven and the declaration of the angel about the full establishment of the Kingdom in heaven in 1914, the mountain of God has been established on top of the mountains (Satan’s entire government). – Jeremiah 1:5-9; Revelation 13:1”- Saint G.M. Urhobo, Facts About GOD And His Established Kingdom.

The “hills” stand for the numerous petty clubs, unions and societies of the world set up for political, social, cultural or even charitable purposes; the Kingdom of God would be raised higher than them (exalted above the hills).

“All nations” represent all lovers of truth and righteousness, God’s children residing in different corners of the globe would hear the good news or gospel of peace (the truth of God’s word) and identify with it, (flow unto it).
